TOSH Wayfinding
TOSH wanted to replace their paper directories and add a wayfinding element. We created the kiosk interface and housing. The interface includes directories, viewable/printable maps and information on specialties, offerings, donors and the Foundation.
Pricing Corporate Training
To help potential clients understand how learning courseware is priced, Allen Communication asked us to create an online tutorial (vignette). Since pricing can be a rather dry subject, we decided to add a little humor and wit. Allen’s goals for this tutorial were to present relevant information and increase client trust and, initially to bring people to the site (via banner ads…). Interesting note: the spokesperson voice is that of an actual employee.
HealthPort ReBrand
HealthPort is the the product of two merging east coast companies. We were called in to develop all branding aspects surrounding the new company. Our responsibilities included: Logo creation, style guide, brochures, trade show banners and materials, website, custom photography, and flash animation.
Hogle Zoo
When it came time for a new brochure to showcase Hogle Zoo’s special events offerings, they gave Swivelhead a call. Although the old brochure was nicely done, we felt it was necessary to design the brochure with a totally different approach. We drew inspiration from 19th century illustration styles and naturalists records. The brochure contains custom illustration and artwork specific to Hogle Zoo. Because of the brochures success, it is now in it’s second round of printing and third year of circulation!
SelectHealth Goes Paperless!
When SelectHealth decided to offer a paperless claims option, they turned to Swivelhead to help get the word out. We created a fully interactive Flash micro-site which leads customers through a world unburdened with paper waste. The site also provides information and links to help customers reduce paper wast in other aspects of their lives. It simply outlines the benefits of going with online, paperless statements and offers the opportunity to sign up for paperless claims right from the site.
NOW ON DVD
The Crane Movie Company (a division of Excel Entertainment) asked us to create the DVD art/cover for the rugby movie, Forever Strong. Utilizing our keen Photoshop/layout skills and capitalizing on the faces of the recognizable actors that appear in the movie, we produced a cover that was very different and much more successful ($$$) than the original key artwork. P.S. We give Forever Strong two thumbs up.
Hollywood Pitch Posters
Swivelhead has be asked to create pitch posters for several films. Our favorite was the World’s Most Wanted poster, which was modified slightly and then used in the director’s Mortal Kombat movie short pitch (3.04 mark) – never let a good poster go to waste.
Local Lunch Fav!
One of our favorite local sandwich shops asked Swivelhead for a little help with a logo and some packaging ideas. As longtime fans of the cafe we jumped on the opportunity to help. The cafe, Rosie’s, is run by one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. Although sweet, she also has a spicy side and we incorporated her colorful flavor into the logos. Our original inspiration was drawn from old hand-painted/hand-lettered fruit stand and cafe signs you will see from time to time in rural Utah. We updated the look a bit though with Rosie-esque shapes and colors. The colors were inspired by her colorful watches and aprons as well as her personality. Needless to say, she was very excited about the design – we like it too. We suggest the Wednesday special; Italian Sausage and Roasted Red Pepper Sandwich! 353 W. 200 S. SLC, UT

Allen Learning Portal
We based the Allen Learning Portal sales tutorial around common problems that users and companies have with LMSs and then stated how Allen’s LMS addresses these problems. We used actual Allen Communication case studies to make the point (although the names had to be changed for legal reasons). To make the tutorial more interesting, we incorporated the concept of a ‘space portal’ (technology, future, uses the word ‘portal’…). Navigation is simple and nonlinear – based on ‘obstacles’ that one might have shopping for an LMS. Also, there is a call-to-action at the end (or if they click on the A within each segment). Coming to a browser near you!
SCARYTOWN is a horror-themed web series written by Scott Knopf, directed by Layne Pavoggi, and produced by Aaron Zaragoza (Oh Amsterdam Ent.). This poster was created as part of a pitch package for the series.
Interesting Fact: None of the legs in the poster actually belong to the characters shown – thank goodness for Photoshop! We are also doing the site for this project, stay tuned for more info.
